Complete list of all 56 Six Flags parks following the Cedar Fair merger
Following the completion of Cedar Fair’s merge with Six Flags, the combined company — Six Flags Entertainment Corporation — owns 56 parks total, with the company considering 42 of them as official gates.

We mapped out a full list of the 56 amusement parks, theme parks, and water parks now operated by the newly combined Six Flags effective July 1, 2024. Previously, these parks were split between Cedar Fair and Six Flags ownership.
While some Six Flags amusement parks also contain water parks (such as Carowinds, with Carolina Harbor), in those cases Six Flags does not count the water park as one of its 42 formal parks unless the water park sells separately ticketed admission. (A previous version of this story mistakenly attributed some of these parks as part of the official count of 42.)
If considering all the water parks Six Flags doesn’t qualify as a formally gated park, the company owns 56 parks rather than the official count of 42. The 14 “extras” are listed in the footnotes of this story.
Gold text indicates a former Cedar Fair park. Black text indicates a park owned by the formerly singular Six Flags entity.

My wife and I worked for the knott Family, I worked for the family from 1977 thru 2000, and my wife from 1985 thru 1995. I knew Marion Knott and the whole family. Hated when the family had to sell the farm to Cider Fair lp.
