SlingShot launches riders skyward over Sunset Walk

SlingShot bungee-style “adrenaline ride” has now opened, adding even more entertainment to Promenade at Sunset Walk in Kissimmee.

Standing 240 feet tall, the SlingShot attraction dominates the landscape over Sunset Walk, but it’s the screams of riders that really grab your attention.

The experience begins in the queue, where visitors soak up a tropical vibe while wandering through tiki huts on the way to the boarding area.

Once they reach the attraction’s gondola and strap in for the ride of a lifetime, those who are brave enough to give it a try are lowered deep into a volcano, where a distinct rumble signals an imminent eruption.

Amid a cloud of billowing smoke, riders are launched skyward, reaching a height of up to 400 feet at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour while pulling five Gs – all in under two seconds!

The view is outstanding by day, and even more thrilling at night.

Tickets are $30, and there are also two packages to choose from.

Package one costs $55 and includes admission for one rider, one t-shirt, and a video of the experience.

Package two costs $85, and includes admission for two riders, two t-shirts, and one video of the experience.

Those who would like to continue the thrills can make the short drive down Interstate-4 to Icon Park, for The SlingShot Group’s three other worlds-tallest attractions, The Orlando SlingShot, FreeFall free-standing drop tower, and StarFlyer giant swing ride.
