Sloth World opening in Orlando in 2026
Sloth World will open on International Drive in Orlando, Fla., in February 2026, becoming home to the world’s first “Slotharium.”
This unique wildlife experience will only be in Orlando. It will offer guests a guided tour into a “rainforest-style habitat.” There, over 40 sloths live and climb on the natural trees, vines, and climbing structures. The tour guides are sloth ambassadors specializing in their behavior. Different species of sloths can be seen, as well as babies born on site.
While most animal attractions keep the animals in cages, Sloth World will not. There will be no cages, enclosures, or glass barriers. The guest will be with the sloths surrounded by their environment. There the sloths can be observed sleeping, moving, eating, climbing, and just living.
Sloth World is about conservation and education
Inspired by the owner’s first sloth, Brucie, Sloth World was created with the idea of conservation and education. Learning how sloths live, and why their habitats need to be protected, can better help protect them in the wild. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds go directly to benefiting sloth habitats in Guyana, Costa Rica, Peru, and other regions.
