Spirit Christmas confirms two Tennessee stores opening this year (2026)
Spirit Christmas is expanding into Tennessee for the first time. For the 2026 holiday season, two locations are now listed in Nashville and Knoxville.
Spirit Christmas is bringing its holiday cheer to the home state of Dolly Parton, with Tennessee’s first two locations opening in Nashville and Knoxville.
The seasonal retailer from the company behind Spirit Halloween has officially listed stores in two of the state’s largest cities. Both Tennessee locations are expected to operate as Spirit Halloween stores through Oct. 31 before reopening as Spirit Christmas on Nov. 6.
Spirit Christmas Tennessee locations
The two officially confirmed Tennessee stores are:
- Knoxville: 9630 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922. The store is located near Urban Air Adventure Park.
- Nashville: 2721 Eighth Ave. S., Nashville, TN 37204. The store is located south of downtown Nashville.
According to the Tennessee store listings, the existing Spirit Halloween stores will close Oct. 31 and reopen as Spirit Christmas on Nov. 6.
These are Tennessee’s first Spirit Christmas locations. The company’s holiday concept previously concentrated primarily on the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.

Spirit Christmas expands into the South
Spirit Christmas debuted in 2024 with a small group of stores in the Northeast before expanding to 30 locations across 13 states in 2025.
The official 2026 locator currently includes 43 stores in 15 states: Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Tennessee joins Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia as new states on the Spirit Christmas list for 2026. The expansion marks the retailer’s largest move into the South since the concept debuted.
What to expect inside Spirit Christmas
Spirit Christmas combines a seasonal retail store with interactive holiday displays and family photo opportunities.
The centerpiece of the 2026 experience is Candy Cane Express, a Christmas train station featuring an almost life-size train and caboose that guests can steer and interact with. An Arrivals and Departures terminal allows children to write letters to Santa and check whether they are on his nice list.
The display also incorporates animated versions of familiar holiday characters. Spirit lists Snoopy, Frosty the Snowman, Heat Miser, Snow Miser, Clarice and several Misfit Toys among the characters expected to appear.
Stores will carry indoor and outdoor decorations, inflatables, ornaments, nutcrackers, holiday clothing, gifts, stocking stuffers and party supplies. A Creepmas collection will offer darker holiday merchandise inspired by Ghost Face, “Terrifier” and Krampus.

The official listings also advertise merchandise based on “Elf,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “The Year Without a Santa Claus” and “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
