SpongeBob fans can attend an exclusive screening of his latest movie
Paramount+ is inviting SoCal SpongeBob fans to a drive-through experience and exclusive drive-in screening of the all-new movie “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run” on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, 2021, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
During the exclusive family-friendly “under-the-sea” road trip, L.A. fans of Bikini Bottom will experience a one-of-a-kind immersive adventure through multiple environments with digital interactions and photo moments. The “dive-through” will be followed by an exclusive socially distanced in-vehicle screening of an episode of the all-new upcoming Paramount+ Original Series “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years,” followed by the full feature film “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.”
“Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years”
In the first-ever SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff, the CG-animated prequel series follows 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals at Kamp Koral, the craziest sleepaway camp in the kelp forest where they build underwater campfires, catch wild jellyfish, and swim in Lake Yuckymuck.
The series features the voice talent of Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) reprising their iconic roles. Carlos Alazraqui (“The Casagrandes”) and Kate Higgins (“Blaze and the Monster Machines”) join the gang as Nobby and Narlene, narwhal siblings who live in the woods surrounding the camp.
The first six episodes of “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years” will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ for U.S. subscribers beginning March 4, 2021.
“The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run”
The first-ever all-CGI SpongeBob motion picture follows SpongeBob SquarePants, his best friend Patrick, and the rest of the Bikini Bottom gang on their most epic adventure yet. When SpongeBob’s pet snail Gary disappears, SpongeBob and Patrick follow clues that lead them to King Poseidon, who is holding Gary captive in the Lost City of Atlantic City. On their mission to save Gary, SpongeBob and his pals discover nothing is stronger than the power of friendship. The film features the voice talent of Tom Kenny, Awkwafina, Matt Berry, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, and Reggie Watts.
“The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run” will be available to stream on Paramount+ and be released by Paramount Home Entertainment for Premium Video-On-Demand on March 4, 2021.
Tickets for the drive-through experience and exclusive drive-in screening are limited, and advance tickets are required for entry. All proceeds will benefit Heal The Bay, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean.
