Busch Gardens Tampa Bay opens Springs Taproom lounge

There’s a new relaxing beer and cocktail lounge at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: The Springs Taproom, which is open for preview now with an official opening in January 2023.

Located in the Bird Gardens area of the park in what used to be the Garden Gate Café — and before that, the iconic Hospitality House — the rethemed venue pays homage to the history of the park and the space. The Springs Taproom has a mix of new decor and classic photos, along with a menu of 12 draft beer options, specialty cocktails, seasonal offerings, and small bites.

Some of the food and drink offerings include frozen beverages like frosé and frojitos, seasonal and local beers, Mediterranean samplers, and fresh fruit and other snacks.

Since the park and the Hospitality House opened in 1959, the space has been a go-to spot for park guests to grab drinks, snacks, and Busch Gardens’ signature free beer samples. During the park’s festivals throughout the year, the Garden Gate Café served up themed food and drinks, including during Mardi Gras, the Food & Wine Festival, and Christmas Town.
