Life-sized, fire-breathing Spyro drone celebrates launch of ‘Spyro Reignited Trilogy’

The first-ever, fire-breathing and talking Spyro drone is now soaring across the U.S. to celebrate the upcoming video game, “Spyro Reignited Trilogy,” out Nov. 13.

UPDATE: After traveling 2,808 miles, Spyro finally made it to Snoop Dogg to deliver his copy of “Spyro Reignited Trilogy” personally. You can check out the delivery in the video below:

Starting his journey at “Stone Hill” castle near New York City, this life-sized Spyro drone will explore cities and landscapes across the country that resemble the levels and themes from the classic trilogy.

Even though the first Spyro game launched 20 years ago, fans are still excited to reconnect with the dragon from their childhoods. The drone will be capturing his cross-country adventure on corresponding social media channels for fans. He can even speak some icons lines from the game!

During the U.S. tour, Spyro will deliver an early copy of the new game to the iconic Snoop Dogg, who fondly refers to the dragon as his “nephew.” The two will reunite and share some sick burns from back in the day. Fans can catch up on their meet-up on Spyro’s various social media channels.

“Spyro Reignited Trilogy” is a game collection that will include the three original Spyro games that started it all – “Spyro the Dragon,” “Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage,” and “Spyro: Year of the Dragon.” Complete with over 100 levels, beautiful environments, and Spyro’s cast of characters in all their HD glory, fans can experience the games they know in a brand new way on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game is available now for pre-order at most major retailers, as well as on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store for $39.99. You can pick up your own copy when the game hits shelves on Nov. 13, 2018.
