In honor of the 40th anniversary of the “Star Wars” saga, Star Wars: Force for Change and Omaze are partnering on a new fundraising initiative titled “Star Wars: Past, Present and Future,” which will benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation and UNICEF. The campaign highlights the longevity of the “Star Wars” franchise, and revels its past, takes pride in its present, and looks forward to the future.

Winners of the fundraising campaign can win various prizes, and a new prize will be awarded each week until the end of the fundraising initiative.

Fans can enter at omaze.com/starwars for four weeks, from now until May 11, 2017, for a chance to win some of these amazing “Star Wars” prizes. Each week will be a new chance for a randomly-selected fan to win a prize. At the end of the fundraising campaign, one randomly-selected grand prize winner will receive all three of the “Past, Present and Future” experiences that “Star Wars” and Omaze have to offer.

Those three experiences are:

  • Past – Stay a night at Skywalker Inn, get a tour of Skywalker Ranch and the “Star Wars” archives, as well as a screening of “Star Wars: A New Hope”
  • Present – Attend the world premiere of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” as well as attend the exclusive after party with the cast of the film
  • Future – Visit the set of the untitled Han Solo film, as well as meet the directors and have a chance to appear in the film

Partnering together since 2014, UNICEF and Star Wars: Force for Change have worked together to help better the lives of children all over the world. With the donations and support from fans, they have raised over $9 million to help those children, which have helped to save over 30,000 children’s’ lives who suffer from malnutrition through the distribution of more than 4 million Ready to Use Therapeutic Food Packets.

Starlight Children’s Foundation is the newest chary to join with Star Wars: Force for Change this year. Force for Change helps the foundation by supporting their programming designed to bring joy and ease to children who have been hospitalized through Starlight’s network of over 700 children’s hospitals, camps, clinics and other organizations across the U.S.

Fans’ donations through Star Wars: Force for Change will bring new programming to Starlight, as well as supplies like “Star Wars” Starlight Brave Gowns, a special garment that children who are hospitalized wear to help them stay brave when they’re going through intense treatment.

“In a year that we celebrate 40 years of the “Star Wars” saga, I continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity and charitable efforts of our fans,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. “We are so proud of their tireless dedication to positively impact the lives of children and others around the world, and hope this year’s Force For Change campaign will offer a few of those wonderful fans an experience they will never forget.
