Star Wars Hyperspace Hoopla is back, rockin’ a bigger stage

Hyperspace Hoopla, a Star Wars Weekends fan favorite which includes a Dance Off with the Star Wars Stars, has a new location this year. No more pushing and elbowing to get a good spot to see at the small Star Tours stage. The show is now presented nightly during Star Wars Weeknds on a large stage in front of the hat icon at Hollywood Studios. Not only have they moved to a bigger stage, but the show has also been enhanced with a video screen and special effects. Let’s take a look.

This year’s theme is Rock and Roll and it’s the good guys versus the bad guys. See the Emperor, his guards, Boba Fett, Jango Fett and Darth Maul get down to AC/DC’s Back in Black. See Chewbacca, Jawas and Ewoks dance to Guns N’ Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle. And stick around to the end to watch C-3PO do (what else?) the robot:

Here’s a front row seat for a special version of this year’s Hoopla, which was put on for the media at a special event:
