‘Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Yoshi popcorn bucket at AMC & Cinemark theaters
“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” premieres April 1, and Cinemark and AMC Theaters have debutted a new Yoshi popcorn bucket alongside the film.
The cost for the 105-ounce “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” Yoshi popcorn bucket is $49.95. If you just can’t wait until your in the movie theater, you can now purchase the Yoshi bucket at the AMC online shop.
Considering the difference in size and character detail, this price is a lot higher than the Hoppers Tom Lizard popcorn bucket which is currently available for purchase at the AMC online shop for $16.95.
Cinemark is also offering a limited-time Super Mario Galaxy gift card available in amounts from $25 to $200.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” is a sequel to the blockbuster “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (2023). In the film, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi join Princess Peach and Toad for an adventure into outer space, where they meet Princess Rosalina and face off against Bowser’s son, Bowser Jr.
Reprising their roles are Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad. Joining the cast are Benny Sadfie as Bowser Jr. and Brie Larson as Rosalina.
Celebrate “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” at Universal Theme Parks
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are celebrating the new movie with limited-time experiences that will launch on March 10 (AKA MAR10 Day) and continue daily through April 13, 2026.
During the experience, Yoshi will participate in a limited-time meet-and-greet in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe will also offer movie-inspired food, including the Rosalina Cupcake—a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake and lemon buttercream, topped with a chocolate crown and star—and multicolored berry-flavored Galaxy Popcorn with edible glitter.
Limited-time merch inspired by the film includes exclusive first-of-its-kind blue and yellow interactive shoulder pals themed to the Luma in the film, which feature light and sound and will communicate with each other when close together.
