Walt Disney World’s new 2pm ticket might be the easiest way to do the parks this summer
Walt Disney World Resort just made summer park days a little more flexible. A new specially priced After 2 p.m. Ticket is available for two months only this summer.
The new Summer Afternoon Ticket lets you enter a theme park starting at 2:00 p.m., giving you a way to skip the early morning rush and focus on the best parts of the day.
You can skip the hardest part of the day
If you’ve ever tried to rope drop in the summer, you know how intense those first few hours can be. Early alarms, packed transportation, and rising heat all hit before lunchtime.
With this ticket, you can sleep in and take your time getting ready, enjoy your resort pool or a relaxed breakfast, head into the parks after the peak heat starts to ease, and spend your energy on rides, dining, and nighttime entertainment.
Disney has offered afternoon-style tickets before, but they were usually tied to Florida residents or convention groups.

You’ll get the most value if you’ve been before and don’t need to do everything, or if you want to avoid the hottest hours of the day. It’s also a great fit if you prefer evenings, fireworks, lower wait times, and the flexibility to split your day between the resort and the parks.

- Valid for start dates May 26 through July 29, 2026
- 2-day tickets must be used within 4 days of the selected start date
- 3-day tickets must be used within 5 days of the selected start date
Important to know
- Valid for park entry after 2:00 p.m. only each day
- Not valid for early theme park entry
- Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations, and Mobile Orders before 2 p.m. will not be honored
