Super Nintendo World debuts new mini-game at Universal Studios Hollywood

Guests can use their Power-Up Band to interact with a newly installed wall inside Super Nintendo World on the west coast.

New Nintendo Mini-Game

The creative powers that be at Universal recently installed a new mini-game inside the Super Nintendo World area of Universal Studios Hollywood (in California). Guests can find the game on a wall in the glacier-themed alcove of the land.

Here are the rules of the new mini-game:

  1. Tap the ? Block.
  2. Tap one of four Power-Up items: Fire Flower, Ice Flower, Super Mushroom, or Super Star.
  3. Before time runs out, swipe or tap your selected Power-Up item to take down the bad guys … or, tap the flashing brick blocks to earn coins.

Power-Up Bands at Super Nintendo World

Guests who purchase a Power-Up Band — a wearable bracelet themed to a Mario character of guests’ choice — can interact with various kinetic elements and multimedia experiences as they explore Super Nintendo World. Power-Up Bands cost around $40.
