Superman popcorn buckets at AMC, Cinemark, Regal, Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters
Popcorn buckets and more novelty collectibles arrive to AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters for “Superman” featuring the titular hero and Krypto the super dog.
From the newly minted DC Studios and writer/director James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), “Superman” debuts in theaters July 11, 2025. The cast includes David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
As moviegoers head to their local cineplexes, they can stock up on popcorn and soft drinks housed in collectible containers from AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, Regal Cinemas, or Alamo Drafthouse locations (while supplies lasts).
AMC: Daily Planet popcorn bucket, Superman cup
AMC Theatres‘ “Superman” popcorn bucket resembles a newspaper rack for the Daily Planet, the publication Clark Kent reports for. A collectible cup comes with one of three mystery lids: Superman, Krypto the dog, or Superman’s “S” logo.
Cinemark: 5 different popcorn buckets
Cinemark Theatres will sell five different popcorn buckets to celebrate “Superman,” including:
- a large figurine of Krypto holding a popcorn container
- a popcorn bucket resembling Krypto’s doggie bowl
- two popcorn tins featuring promotional imagery from the movie
- a popcorn tin featuring imagery of Superman and Krypto in comic-book-style illustrations
Regal: Heat Vision + specialty drinks
Regal Cinemas will serve popcorn in a bucket shaped like, well, a popcorn popper, with a figure of Superman on the exterior beaming his heat vision toward the popcorn.
Regal will also sell:
- Krypto’s popcorn bucket, resembling a doggie bowl with a figurine of Krypto the dog attached
- Last Son of Krypton popcorn tin
- cups topped with mini figurines of Superman or Lex Luthor
- High-Flying Light-Up Cup
- specialty drinks
- Hero’s Flight (blue Long Island iced tea)
- Heat Vision (spicy strawberry margarita)
- Krypton Cooler (melon vodka sour)
Alamo Drafthouse: super suit popcorn bucket
Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters’ AlamoMart is debuting a popcorn bucket in a traditional cylinder shape, but featuring a textured design emulating the iconography of Superman’s super suit. It’s now available for pre-order for $25.
