Pirate and Princess Weekends returns to Gaylord Palms Resort for 2021

From Jan. 8 through March 7, Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Fla. will once again host Pirate and Princess Weekends, with family-friendly activities will be happening throughout the resort and at Cypress Springs Waterpark.

Resort Report: Christmas at Gaylord Palms: ‘I Love Christmas Movies’

It’s Christmas time in Orlando, and that means it’s time for Ice! at the Gaylord Palms Resort. Well, it’s 2020, so no, it’s not – but that doesn’t mean Christmas is canceled at the resort, far from it. All the other usual Christmas at Gaylord Palms festivities are happening, and they’ve added a new walk-through attraction called “I Love Christmas Movies.” Gaylord invited us out to experience it all.

Yehaa Bob Jackson’s 23 year run ends at Walt Disney World

Bob Jackson, aka Yehaa Bob, packed audiences into Walt Disney World’s River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for over two decades. On Sept. 29, Jackson announced via Facebook that Disney pulled the plug on his long-time Yehaa Bob act.

And that’s how it ends, not with a bang but with a whimper. I’ve just learned my act will not be returning to Disney. I made so many friends over the last 23 years, it was a great time, we had a lot of laughs together.”

Imagine Resorts opening family waterpark resort near Branson in 2023

Imagine Resorts & Hotels announced their intention to build a family destination waterpark resort in Hollister, Mo., a suburb of the tourist destination of Branson, approximately 10 miles from the Silver Dollar City theme park. Renderings provided depict a themed resort with multiple familiar toy brands such as My Little Pony, Transformers, Mr. Potato Head, Monopoly, and more.

Disneyland theme parks reopening July 17; Phased reopening planned for the resort
