When Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde announced his retirement last November, it was a shock to Disney fans. Rohde is famous for being the leading mind behind Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Aulani Resort by Disney in Hawaii, Pandora – The World of Avatar, Adventurers Club, and much more (including his large collection of earrings). Rohde grew a strong fanbase, one that Disney certainly promoted on numerous occasions. So, when you lose the fan-made current “king” of Walt Disney Imagineering, what do you do? You make a new one. With the release of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ latest feature, “Raya and the Last Dragon” has come a vast amount of new merchandise, sweet treats, and more – and much of it can be found at the Disney Parks and online at shopDisney!
Disney cast members are a core part of the Disney Parks brand, being the forefront of the magic for the theme parks and destinations around the world. Artist Kelly Seserko (@kosmicsatellite) combined the worlds of Disney films and the real-life parks together in a set of fan-made artwork.

Walt Disney World has shared a first look at the newly-reimagined guest rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, featuring nods to the animated feature film, “Moana.”

Disney recently invited us to an empty Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for some sunrise photos. Without the crowds, the land is alive with sounds, everything from “distant” creatures to “villagers” going about their day. Of course, getting photos of this land without other theme park guests is nearly impossible during normal hours.

A mysterious dragon that’s the last of her kind, and the key to saving the world. “Raya and the Last Dragon” is an adventurous tale that can show us all just how vital it is to learn to trust again in the face of trials and tribulations.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge may be open, but the Star Wars expansion at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is not yet complete. The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be a multi-night resort destination, designed to fully immerse guests into the Star Wars galaxy. While there isn’t an announced opening date yet, this destination is getting ready for when visitors can arrive. Let’s look at how Disney plans on making guests believe they’re staying in a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser in outer space.
