‘The Radley Haunted House’ in St. Pete offers an immersive haunt experience

Looking for an immersive haunt experience outside the theme parks? Look no further, The Radley Haunted House in St. Petersburg brings a neighborhood haunted house to a new level. From an elaborate story (via a video in the queue) to beautiful sets immersing you in the story, The Radley Haunted House is the most popular non-theme park haunt in Central Florida.

This year will mark the sixth annual Radley Haunted House. Last year the house drew nearly 4,000 visitors and this year that number is expected to grow. Just last night when we visited the event, the line stretched all the way down the street from the haunted house and had visitors screaming throughout the whole house.

The Radley Haunted House is put on each year by Cody Meacham, an avid horror fan. Each wall inside the haunted house is custom made by Meacham and all the set pieces are meticulously placed by him as well.

This year’s theme is ‘Family Roots’. Each year, the Radley Family has bore the weight of a fatal curse from generation one. And each year they bring you the story of a different family member and their individual fate and this year they are bringing you deep under the family tree to the ancient place where curses are born.

Check out this queue line video explaining the backstory of the house:
