Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group has made a name for themselves producing haunts and immersive experiences all over the United States. Those living in Southern California are particularly spoiled with their Halloween offerings as Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, and Delusion: The Red Castle offers something for everyone.
Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns
Whether your family is a bit young for haunt experiences or you simply enjoy the magical and whimsical side of Halloween over of the horror, Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns is a fun Halloween offering for the whole family.
Whittier Narrows Park in South El Monte, California has been transformed into an immersive pumpkin experience with thousands of hand-carved jack o’lanterns, light displays and activities for all ages. This year features newly added pumpkin scenes, inflatables, and bouncy pads.

From dinosaurs to pirate ships and dragons, guests can enjoy the all-new pumpkin light show programmed to music across the entire event every 30 minutes. Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns also offers delicious food and beverages on-site to enjoy while you explore the glowing pumpkin wonderland.

The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor: The Spirits Rise
After four long years, The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor returns to Long Beach, California. The almost 100-year-old haunted vessel has been transformed into a haunt destination once again.
Haunt experiences and more can be enjoyed aboard the ship as well as in the surrounding harbor. Beloved icons, like Scary Mary and The Ringmaster, have returned along with haunted mazes, live entertainment, ghostly experiences, speakeasy bars and lounges, and sinister eats and treats.
This beloved event will feature mazes continuing stories of the past and introduce new characters and storylines. Secret speakeasies are hidden inside and around Dark Harbor’s mazes and attractions. Entry is granted only to guests with one of Lady Mabel’s mystic tokens. Some of these tokens will be given out each night during the Maiden Voyage Launch Party at 8:08 pm in the ShipYard. For guaranteed access, guests can purchase a “Foresight Four Pack,” which includes a group astrology reading with Lady Mabel herself and four speakeasy tokens.

The Ringmaster returns to the Queen Mary to share a Halloween-themed carnival with a collection of new and returning rides including Sinister Swings, Black Widow, Rampage Double Wheel and Scary Mary’s Ghost Rider.
To wrap up your night, join guests in the ShipYard for a dance party celebrating The Queen Mary’s final voyage to Long Beach. This one-hour finale features Latin music, reggaeton and an appearance by el Diablo.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride
Los Angeles Haunted Hayride has returned to Griffith Park in California this Halloween season. Step through the gates of Midnight Falls and through the pumpkin tunnel for a night of scary, festive fun. Be sure and interact with the Town Folk lurking around Midnight Falls.
This event features three haunted mazes as well as the namesake hayride. Mazes include Hellbilly Halloween, Trick-or-Treat where you can knock on doors for a playful trick, and Monae Manor where Halloween icon Janelle Monae throws another legendary party.

Delusion: The Red Castle
At an all-new location in Los Angeles, California, the Delusion immersive series returns with a new story to unfold. No other experience comes closer to walking into a horror movie than Delusion.
The story takes place in the mid-20th Century, centering around the brilliant psychologist Dr. Frederick Lowell and you, his cohort of unusual patients. Otherworldly yet dormant abilities lay within your minds and only Dr. Lowell has been able to help unlock them. Yet his unorthodox methods got him banished from his community. Lowell and his family fled, along with his most prized patients, to find refuge within a strange and abandoned castle.
Soon after, tragedy struck. Lowell’s wife Attie fell from the castle and died. Plagued with torment, the doctor’s work began to take on new meaning. He believed that with your help and abilities, he may be able to bring his greatest love back to life. Yet, resurrection hardly ends well.
It’s time for you to play your part in this interactive, location-based play. You will play the role of Dr. Frederick Lowell’s most prized patients, found sleepwalking on the grounds of the Red Castle. Yet this time, when you awake, your memory has faded, and Dr. Lowell is nowhere to be found.
