Tiana’s Bayou Adventure walls removed, and everybody’s welcome
Disney dismantled the construction walls around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, revealing permanent signage and closer views of the upcoming attraction.

Welcome to the Bayou
Crews removed the walls overnight at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort; the formerly walled-off areas are accessible to all guests as of this morning, May 30, 2024. The ride itself remains closed (officially opening June 28, 2024). Disney revealed a sneak peek inside the attraction earlier this week.
Within the newly minted promenade areas surrounding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, guests can now see the attraction’s official marquee, directional signage, themed elements, and a portion of the ride’s outdoor opening scene. Empty ride vehicles are currently test-cycling through the ride.

One sign displays the message, “Everybody’s welcome!”

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure replaces Splash Mountain at both Magic Kingdom near Orlando, Fla. and Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif. The west-coast counterpart will open later in 2024, its exact opening date TBA for the time being.
