Feld Entertainment has officially announced that tickets are now on sale in select markets for Disney On Ice presents Frozen & Encanto, featuring the magical adventures of Anna, Elsa, and the Madrigal Family.
Disney On Ice will bring the stories of “Frozen” and “Encanto” to life like never before as audiences will experience world-class ice skating and aerial acrobatics, and see beloved characters including Anna, Elsa, Mirabel, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, and many more, all while singing along to their favorite Disney songs.
Narrated by Olaf, the lovable snowman who likes warm hugs, the story of “Frozen” will transport audiences to Arendelle to be part of Anna’s adventure to find Elsa, whose icy powers have unleashed an eternal winter. Meanwhile, Kristoff and Sven take fans along as they brave wintry conditions to bring back summer.
After that very frosty adventure, audiences will journey to the sunny mountains of Colombia to meet the Madrigals, the extraordinary family who live in a magical casita in a charmed place called an Encanto.
Mirabel tells the story of her family and her journey to save the casita with the help of her sisters Isabela, who can make plants grow and flowers bloom with every step, and Luisa, who has the gift of super strength. For the first time live, fans will also see Tia Pepa, who can control the weather with her emotions, her husband Felix, and their daughter Dolores, who has the gift of super hearing – and, of course, the mysterious and misunderstood Bruno, whose visions foretell the future.
In the end, audiences learn we all have gifts – magical or not – and being true to ourselves and those around us makes us special.
The inaugural Disney On Ice presents Frozen & Encanto tour runs from Sept. 8, 2022, to May 7, 2023. Tickets are now on sale for performances in Sunrise, Fla; Miami, Fla; Atlanta, Ga; Charlotte, N.C.; Fairfax, Va; Hershey, Pa; and Philadelphia, Pa.
