2021 brought new rides, re-imagined park experiences and a constant roller coaster of pandemic rules and regulations. Even with the tourism world in a state of change, theme parks are still recovering. Now we look back at our top 10 theme park videos from 2021.

10. Six Flags Fright Fest Announcement
So many were ready for horror and scares to return after many were closed in 2020. Six Flags presentation brought horror and sarcasm to a virtual press conference, and it worked as it reached our top 10 of the year.
9. The Six Flags Jersey Devil POV
With TikTok being extremely popular, we saw a spike of new vertical video offerings like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Our POV of the new Jersey Devil coaster was a hit for Youtube Short users.
8. Universal’s VelociCoaster Ride Cam
The USA Today best new attraction of the year, Universal’s VelociCoaster. With this unique video angle, you got to see true first time reactions on this incredible new Universal offering.
7. The Grinch Loves Memorial Day
Another YouTube Short, this time featuring the Grinch, who overtook Grinchmas this year at Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood. He also overtook social media with thousands of new videos, many going viral from the Grinch’s wacky hijinks.
6. Jack is Back at Halloween Horror Nights
Another Universal Orlando offering, Halloween Horror Nights. We didn’t have a true HHN for 2020, so Universal brought out the very best for their 2021 year, including the return of Jack the Clown.
5. Peppa Pig
The upcoming Peppa Pig Theme Park will be opening soon right next to Legoland Florida and will be the first standalone Peppa Pig theme park in the world. Peppa graced the construction grounds and went viral on our YouTube short of her.
4. Doctor Strange Mysteries of the Mystic Arts Show
A new Disney California Adventure offering, Doctor Strange’s Ancient Sanctum at the Avengers Campus. The entire land is packed full of unique character experiences.
3. VelociCoaster Queue Tour
Back to the Universal Orlando Resort with a tour of the VelociCoaster queue. This new coaster offering, located at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, features a highly-detailed queue with life-life raptors.
2. Full Queue and Front Row POV of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
We got a first look at the full queue and a front row POV of the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot. This is the first ride at Epcot to be multi-lingual, and is a welcome addition to World Showcase.
1. Spider-Man Soars Over Avengers Campus
This high-tech animatronic is a crowd-gathering way to bring guests up to Spider-Man’s meet and greet location. It is an experience unlike any other, and a showcase to Imagineering’s feats.
Those were our top 10 theme park videos of the year, but 2022 holds so many new offerings and experiences. What will our top 10 videos hold for next year? Maybe a rider cam of the upcoming Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, or a close-up details video on the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster at Epcot? Perhaps we will have a viral video of the Universal’s Epic Universe construction? You never can truly know what will be big, so let’s reconvene this time next year.
Honorable Mention
While not in our Top 10 most-viewed theme park videos, it was amazing to see that the new Captain America, Anthony Mackie, shared our video of him trying his best on the new Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction.
