There will be plenty of treats and very few tricks at the Tricks and Treats Fall Fest at Cedar Point and Kings Island theme parks in Ohio. Both family-friendly Halloween events will allow guests of all ages to safely enjoy the spookiest time of the year with themed food, activities, entertainment, seasonal merchandise, and of course, trick-or-treating. Plus, rides will be open to deliver plenty of thrills and chills.

The Halloween event will offer all the fun of a traditional fall festival but with safety and social distancing measures built-in. Kids won’t want to miss the Halloween costume contest, face painting (with a safe and sanitary process), fall-themed games, mazes, and crafts like mess-free pumpkin decorating (you’re welcome, moms and dads). Families can also solve fall-themed puzzles, riddles, and challenges on a quest around the whole park or put their taste buds to the test with a JellyBelly BeanBoozled Taste-Off where they’ll never know if a jellybean will be a trick or a treat until they take a bite.

With a Tasting Card for this event, guests can sample snack-sized sweet and savory menu items, including “Tricks”—foods that might look a bit crazy, but are actually delicious—and classic “Treats,” which are the seasonal favorites everyone knows and loves. Also available throughout the parks will be lots of goodies with a Halloween twist.

“The new Tricks and Treats Fall Fest was designed with unique entertainment, food, and activities for all ages,” says vice president & general manager of Cedar Point, Jason McClure. Mike Koontz, vice president & general manager of Kings Island adds, “Our associates have gone above and beyond expectations in creating a safe environment for families to spend time with each other.”
