On Aug. 12. First Magnitude Brewing Company announced the release of their newest Flavors of Summer Series, “Dole Whip Sour” and within three days of its release, it sold out.

The new beer was available for online pick-up exclusively at First Magnitude Brewing Company in Gainesville, Fla.

On the brewery’s Facebook page, they describe the beer as “Brewed using actual Dole Whip mix, pineapple puree, and milk sugar, this beer tastes just like the iconic pineapple soft serve served at Disney. This beer is a creamy, dreamy sour that isn’t too sweet or tart, it’s just the right balance and is packed with pineapple goodness!”

Facebook fan Kyra Ketnick said, “I had it yesterday and was nervous about the word sour, but it was creamy dreamy and pineapple-y ❤️

First Magnitude wasn’t the first Florida brewing company to take a go at a Dole Whip flavored beer, Hidden Springs Ale Works in Tampa crafted “The Enchanted Tiki Room” in June.

With both “Dole Whip Sour” and “The Enchanted Tiki Room” sold out, there’s no word on when or if they’ll return. If we hear of them coming back or any others on sale, we’ll let you know.
