Twizzlers Twisted Gravity screaming swing opening at Hersheypark in 2025
Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, a “screaming swing” thrill ride, will open at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania in summer 2025.

New at Hersheypark in 2025: Twizzlers Twisted Gravity
The world’s tallest “screaming swing” attraction, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, will open at Hersheypark in Hersey, Penn. in summer 2025 (date TBA). The ride will reach a maximum height of 137 feet and a maximum speed of 68 mph.

Notice how the concept rendering depicts the ride’s two large support columns as giant Twizzlers.
Guest must be at least 48 inches tall to ride Twizzlers Twisted Gravity. The attraction will operate year-round.
What is a screaming swing?
On a screaming swing like Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, a long row of riders sit back to back as their rows swing up into the air and move back and forth in a pendulum-like motion.
You may have ridden other screaming swings at various parks: Barnstormer at Dollywood (81 feet, 45 mph), Finnegan’s Flyer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (80 feet, 45 mph), or Serengeti Flyer, shown in the video below, at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (135 feet, 68 mph).
‘Leave gravity behind’
“Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will provide our guests with the best of both worlds: the ultimate thrills and never-before-seen views of our park’s beautiful 121 acres as they soar to a record-breaking height and leave gravity behind,” said Vikki Hultquist, vice president of Hersheypark & Entertainment Operations.

Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will follow in the footsteps of Hersheypark opening the Wildcat’s Revenge roller coaster in 2023 and revamping its Villas lodging in 2024.
