Two lucky winners will get inked at the world’s highest tattoo studio
In honor of World Tattoo Day on March 21, 2023, two iconic Australian brands – the Sydney Tower Eye and Bondi Ink – are collaborating to host “The World’s Highest Tattoo Studio” 250 meters above the Sydney skyline.
At the pop-up sky-high tattoo parlor on the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck, Bondi Ink artists Chris and Cristina will give two lucky winners one of two unique semi-realistic Sydney-skyline-inspired tattoos, the result of a team-building Skywalk experience from the highest vantage point in the city.
“I’ve tattooed for some interesting events in my time but being invited to create a design for ‘The World’s Highest Tattoo Studio’ on the Sydney Tower Eye is pretty unique,” Chris said. “I’m looking forward to it.”
“We’re already spoilt with our view at Bondi Ink, but the crew loved seeing the whole city from up high on the Skywalk,” Christina added. “No better view to feed into our Sydney-skyline tattoo designing.”
The one-day pop-up tattoo parlor on the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck will take place on April 5, 2023, beginning at 9 a.m. Hopeful ink recipients (age 18+) can enter the competition until 11:59 a.m. AEDT on March 27, 2023, by stating in 25 words or less why they want to get a tattoo at “The World’s Highest Tattoo Studio.” The two freshly-inked winners will also participate in a victory skywalk with the artists to see the views that inspired their designs.
