In consultation with medical experts, Busch Gardens Tampa has found a way for guests to bring in the New Year with health and safety in mind, while still enjoying world-class rides and entertainment, and the dazzling “Spark the Night” fireworks celebration.

This year, guests can make a Dec. 31 park reservation for either a daytime visit or nighttime visit, and also book a time slot for special viewing of the evening’s two fireworks shows.

Play By Day (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.): Spend the day experiencing the rides, attractions, and animal encounters at Busch Gardens Tampa, as well as seasonal Christmas Town and all its holiday treats.

Enhance your visit with an additional-cost, behind-the-scenes tour to meet the resident giraffes, elephants, tortoises, or penguins, or with one of the park’s new Animal Insider tours featuring rhinos or hippos. All tours are specially adapted to include enhanced safety measures and will accommodate current physical distancing guidelines.

Play By Night (6 p.m-1 a.m.): Revel in all the fun of Christmas Town, including the inspiring “The Three Kings” show. Then, welcome 2021 with either of two sensational fireworks extravaganzas, with the choice of reserved access to the Festival Field for the 8:30 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. show. Access to the field has an up-charge starting at $6.99 per person (ages 3 and up), and seating will be available.

Premium fireworks viewing with VIP seating for the “Christmas On Ice” show, plus one free cocktail, bottled water, or soda, can be booked for an additional $24.99 per person (ages 3 and up).

“Spark the Night” will also be visible from various locations around the park (Busch Gardens Tampa’s website has recommendations for the best viewing locations), and are included in park admission.

Face coverings, temperature checks, physical distancing while in the park, and date-and-time specific reservations will be required for this event.

Now through Dec. 27, tickets are up to 50% off, while Fun Cards, and Annual Passes can be used now through the end of 2021. The limited-time Busch Gardens Holiday Sale offers Fun Cards at 25% off, and Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Annual Passes at 10-25% off.
