Disney Junior Dream Factory unveiled at Walt Disney Studios Park
In 2021, Walt Disney Studios Park will open a brand-new family stage show, Disney Junior Dream Factory – and Disneyland Paris has shared a sneak peek!
In addition to Mickey and Minnie, this 20-minute musical will feature other characters from Disney Junior: Timon, Vampirina and Fancy Nancy, making their appearances at Disneyland Paris for the first time. Accompanied by Disney Junior Dream Factory team members, the characters will invite guests to take part by learning and singing amusing songs and creating endless collective energy.
“The idea for this show came to me while listening to the music of the various Disney Junior franchises. There was a common thread: The importance of dreaming and believing in your dreams. That’s how Disney Junior Dream Factory came about,” said show director Paul Chychota.
To accommodate the new show, the theater that previously housed the Disney Junior Live on Stage! show has been transformed into Studio D. This redesigned “flex-space” can now accommodate both shows and events with multiple configurations. Claire Salmon, executive producer of Disney Junior Dream Factory, has been working on the project for more than two years, collaborating with many teams along the way.
This theater also allows for the integration of many special effects. Months of work were necesary to create the scene for this show created by American set designer Scott Shaffer, whose work includes the Animation Celebration theater, also in Walt Disney Studios Park.
Stay tuned for updates on this new dream when it arrives in 2021 at Disneyland Paris.
