My family and I went monorail hopping last night to see the Christmas decorations at the various Disney resorts. The Grand Floridian is usually the most impressive with its large tree and life-size gingerbread house. I wasn’t expecting to see much at The Contemporary. While they didn’t have a lot of decorations, their new gift shop had a very cool monorail tree.
I know a lot of people buy the toy monorail and set up the track to go around their tree, but this one is different. They have it set up so the track runs all around the tree, all the way to the top, through a few toy Contemporarys. Although not a traditional tree by any means, I like its futuristic look.
Check our Disney Resorts Holiday 2007 Photo Gallery for all of the pictures of the holiday decorations at the various Walt Disney World resorts. The photos start at The Polynesian, then The Grand Floridian, then The Contemporary.
