Epic Universe inaugural holiday season décor revealed
Universal Epic Universe will celebrate its first holiday season in Celestial Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
Universal Orlando will officially celebrate the holiday season from Nov. 14, 2026 – Jan. 3, 2027, one week earlier than last year.
2026 update: Universal Epic Universe will expand its holiday celebration in 2026, adding seasonal décor to Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Celestial Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will also participate, which debuted last year in 2025.

Holiday décor in Epic Universe
Among the five worlds of Epic Universe, guests can see holiday décor in Celestial Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
Universal revealed a peek into the decorations already up inside Ministry of Magic, pictured below. Christmas trees, festive garland, and a gingerbread cookie featuring a magical creature known as a Demiguise.
No décor for Nintendo, Dark Universe, Berk?
Last year Universal did not mention holiday decorations or special happenings within Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, or How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Now for 2026, Universal has confirmed there will be decorations this year. The photos below are not for Orlando, but from Universal Studios Japan.

DreamWorks Animation created multiple holiday specials taking place in the “How to Train Your Dragon” story. The characters celebrate their own festival called Snoggletog rather than a familiar holiday to us like Christmas or Hanukkah.
For 2026, Universal has confirmed that Isle of Berk will have festive decorations. Last year the decorations at Isle of Berk were not announced, but in the end there were decorations in 2025 for the in-universe winter holiday “Snoggletog.”

They need to do Super Nintendo world Christmas decorations and Super Nintendo world needs to win awards, and maybe there is a chance that should happen next year.
And universal Hollywood should have a donkey kong ride somehow.
