Universal Orlando to bring back indoor mask requirements starting Dec. 24

Universal Orlando Resort will once again bring back their mask requirements for indoor areas as a result of the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country and the Omicron variant.

Starting Friday, Dec. 24, all guests and team members will be required to wear face coverings in all public indoor areas at Universal Orlando Resort, regardless of vaccination status. This includes restaurants, shops, and indoor hotel public areas.

At the moment, face coverings are also required at all attractions from the moment guests enter the queue to the moment they exit the ride.

As a result of this update, all guests are expected to bring a face covering with them when visiting the resort.
