Universal Orlando announces dates, offerings for 2019 holidays celebration

Guests can experience the merry mischief of holidays at Universal Orlando once again this year, as the resort has announced its dates and special offerings for the holiday season.

From Nov. 16, 2019 – Jan. 5, 2020, guests can enjoy holiday experiences across the entire resort, including “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, meeting the Grinch himself during Grinchmas, the return of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s and more.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Experience a magical holiday as the streets of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley don their winter decor. Guests can enjoy performances of both magical and Muggle carols from the Frog Choir, as well as the holiday stylings of Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees. There will also be a lineup of seasonal food and beverages, including the return of Hot Butterbeer.

When night falls in Hogsmeade, guests can experience “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” nighttime projection show.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s

See your favorite characters take to the streets of Universal Studios Florida for this wondrous winter parade featuring Macy’s. The parade includes more than 30 balloons and floats, hundreds of performers and more.

Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

You can watch the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” – a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’ holiday tale – or even meet the Grinch himself during Grinchmas at Seuss Landing. Guests can also enjoy a separately-ticketed character breakfast on select dates that includes meeting the master of holiday mischief and his friends at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous.

Mannheim Steamroller at Universal Studios Florida

Mannheim Steamroller is returning to Universal Studios Florida to perform the sounds of the season live on select nights.

Holidays at Universal Orlando’s resort hotels

The holiday fun keeps going at Universal’s resort hotels! Each will feature seasonal decorations, holiday activities, festive meal offerings and more.

New Year’s Eve at Universal Orlando

Ring in 2020 with a variety of New Year’s celebrations across the resort. Families can enjoy all-ages festivities at Universal Studios Florida and the Universal hotels, and guests 21 and up can take in the upscale offerings of EVE at Universal CityWalk. More details on these offerings will be announced later in the year.
