Universal Orlando on-site hotels offering Thanksgiving celebrations
A grand feast of Thanksgiving festivities and buffets are coming to the on-site hotels at Universal Orlando Resort this fall.
Universal Orlando’s on-site hotels will host a variety of events, including holiday buffets, live entertainment, tree-lighting ceremonies at Holiday Harbor Nights and more. The hotels will also host a community-wide volunteer event on Saturday, Nov. 24 to put together 425,000 meals for Feeding Children Everywhere – a local charity that helps to assemble healthy meals for hungry children.
Of that total amount of meals, 325,000 will benefit children in Central Florida, and 100,000 will be sent to the Florida Panhandle for hurricane relief.
Thanksgiving Day Buffets
- Trattoria del Porto at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
Indulge in the flavors of Italy at this Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Entertainment will include appearances by Universal Orlando characters, a kids’ holiday crafts and activities table, face painting, a balloonist and live music. The cost of attendance is $65 for adults, $20 for children ages 3-9, and kids under 3 are free.
- The Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando
Join in on this rockin’ Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. Entertainment will include appearances by Universal Orlando characters and Magic Man. The cost of attendance is $62 for adults, $22 for children, and kids under 3 are free.
- Island Dining Room at Loews Royal Pacific Resort
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the South Pacific with this Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Entertainment will include face painting, a balloonist, musician and hula dancer, plus appearances by Universal Orlando characters. The cost of attendance is $58 for adults, $26 for children ages 3-9, and kids under 3 are free.
- Amatista Cookhouse at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort
Settle in for this Caribbean-style Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Entertainment will include a face painter, balloonist, and appearances by Universal Orlando characters. The cost of attendance is $58 for adults, $26 for children ages 3-9, and kids under 3 are free.
After Thanksgiving Events
- Holiday Harbor Nights at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
Start your holiday season at Portofino Bay’s food and wine event on Friday, Nov. 23 from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy select wines and sparkling wines alongside gourmet foods and live music. Plus, catch the illumination of Portofino’s Christmas tree and more on the Habor Piazza. General admission to this event is $55, VIP is $90 – both plus tax and ticketing fees. Tickets can be purchased online.
- Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando & Feeding Children Everywhere
Celebrate the season of giving back with Universal Orlando and Loews Hotels as they help put together 425,000 meals for Feeding Children Everywhere. Guests can volunteer for a one-hour shift at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, or Universal’s Aventura Hotel between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. You can sign up to volunteer online.
