Universal Orlando announces transportation area update

Universal Orlando shared a brief transportation update today, Aug. 20, announcing changes to the park’s pick-up and drop-off location.

Starting Aug. 22, guest and team member pick-up/drop-off, along with rideshare transportation like Uber and Lyft, will have its own dedicated location on the 5th floor of the Jurassic Park section of the North parking garage at Universal CityWalk. Vehicles will be able to access this location through a dedicated lane in the resort’s parking garage entrance, and a parking fee will not be required.

Taxis, Universal’s hotel shuttles and transportation buses will still use the CityWalk bus loop as a pick-up/drop-off location.

  1. Leave it to Universal Studios to further try and get Uber and Lyft off there property. They hate them. They make money from the Mears Taxi company.
