Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration returning for limited performances

Universal Orlando’s nighttime spectacular, “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration,” is set to make a return this weekend.

On the official Universal Orlando website, the show is described as a “colossal celebration of music, water and light that transforms the park and takes you into the movies like never before,” and features favorite moments from “Jurassic World,” “Fast & Furious,” Illumination’s “Despicable Me,” and more.

According to the site’s Show Times page, the nighttime spectacular will be performed on the following dates, coinciding with extended park hours:

  • Oct. 23: No Shows
  • Oct. 24-25: 9:45 p.m.
  • Oct. 26-30: No Shows
  • Oct. 31: 9:45 p.m.
  • Nov. 1: TBA

There’s no word just yet on if the nighttime show will continue performances beyond those dates, though it is a step forward in seeing the parks start to return to some kind of normal.

In addition, Universal recently shared with Annual Passholders via email that, due to increased demand, there may be times when the theme parks may reach capacity and additional guests will not be admitted. The resort advises for the next two weekends, if possible, for UOAPs to visit on a weekday rather then a weekend. Guests can always check the Universal Orlando social channels, the resort’s website, or call the Resort Capacity Hotline at (407) 817-8317.
