Universal Studios Hollywood introduces The Fall Guy Stuntacular
An all-new The Fall Guy Stuntacular live stunt show begins April 27, 2024, at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Inspired by Universal’s new film “The Fall Guy” starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, the limited-run pre-show will be performed from April 27 through Sunday, May 19, 2024, as part of the theme park’s “WaterWorld” attraction. Using the existing “WaterWorld” set, The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show will feature an original storyline and new stunts, revealing how stunt performances are brought to life and celebrating stunt performers. An exclusive “The Fall Guy” photo op will also be available in the park.
The exclusive performance can only be seen at Universal Studios Hollywood and was produced by 87North Productions, the production and action design company founded by “The Fall Guy” director (and former stuntman) David Leitch, that’s behind blockbuster action movies like “Bullet Train,” “Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw,” “Deadpool 2,” and “John Wick.”
“We make movies to give audiences an experience, and what better way to amplify 87North’s brand of action storytelling than to evolve into live events,” Leitch said. “We are so thankful to our partners at Universal who embraced our ideas and gave us the platform to do something really fun and immersive with ‘The Fall Guy.’”
“The Fall Guy” stars Academy Award nominee Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a former stuntman who is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie goes missing. Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, “The Fall Guy” also stars Winston Duke (“Black Panther”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Bullet Train”), Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham (“Ted Lasso”), and Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”).
“The Fall Guy” debuts in theaters on May 3, 2024. Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its iconic Studio Tour from April 27 through Aug. 11, 2024.
