Universal Studios Japan toys will be available at McDonald’s Japan in July
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Universal Studios Japan is collaborating with McDonald’s Japan to introduce Universal-themed Happy Meal toys (known in Japan as a “Happy Set”).
Starting July 9, 2021, McDonald’s locations across Japan will offer 10 summer-themed water toys featuring Universal characters, including Curious George, Hello Kitty, and the Minions.
The first five “Universal Studios Japan All-Stars” toys will be given with Happy Sets purchased from July 9-15, and the second set of five toys will be offered from July 16-22. After July 23, all remaining toys from both sets will be given away.
Guests visiting McDonald’s Japan locations during the weekend of July 10-11 will also receive a Universal Studios Japan-themed sticker and quiz book (available while supplies last).
