Universal Terra Luna Resort opening date postponed near Epic Universe
Universal Terra Luna Resort — located near the new Epic Universe theme park in Orlando — will open one month later than previously announced.
Universal Terra Luna delayed in Orlando
Universal Terra Luna Resort — a new hotel property at Universal Orlando in Florida — will now open March 25, 2025, one month later than its previously announced opening date of Feb. 25. Universal quietly adjusted the opening date on its official website this past week.
Terra Luna is “inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown and pushing the limits of discovery,” according to Universal. “Opening March 25, 2025, it’s much more than your launchpad into amazing adventures and exclusive theme park benefits at the parks; it’s also your landing zone for relaxation and recharging between the fun.”

Terra Luna will be located adjacent to its sister property, Universal Stella Nova Resort. That hotel is still on track for its Jan. 21, 2025 opening. Both resorts belong to Universal’s “prime value” hotel category (the second-least-expensive tier of onsite accommodations).
Universal Stella Nova and Universal Terra Luna are across the street from Epic Universe, the new theme park opening May 22, 2025. Though Stella Nova and Terra Luna are quite close to Epic Universe, the park is not actually attached to either hotel. That exclusivity is reserved for the deluxe-tier Universal Helios Grand Hotel, also currently under construction and slated for a May 22 opening. Stella Nova and Terra Luna will provide overnight hotel guests with free shuttle transportation to Epic Universe (and existing Universal parks).
