VIDEO: Air Force Thunderbirds fly over Walt Disney World
The Air Force Thunderbirds flew over Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort yesterday, thrilling guests from around the world. The flyover was a prelude to National Veterans and Military Families Month, which takes place in November.

The Thunderbirds did two passes over the theme park, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and culminating in their famous Delta maneuver where they accelerated rapidly in different directions. Taking place behind and above Cinderella Castle, the maneuver gave the appearance of a fireworks display over the iconic castle.
Making this flyover even more special was the fact that one of the pilots grew up visiting Walt Disney World, where his dad worked, and was inspired to be a pilot after seeing the Thunderbirds when he was young. Watch the interview with father and son here:
The Walt Disney Company founders Walt and Roy O. Disney both served the United States during World War I. And today the company is an enduring supporter of the military. This special flyover is the latest example of Walt Disney World Resort’s long tradition of celebrating members of the United States military and their families.
