This trailer has a lot to offer, namely the huge assemblage of Resistance and Rebellion ships about a third of the way in.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot the Ghost from “Star Wars: Rebels,” Han Solo’s freighter from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the ship from the upcoming Disney+ series “The Mandalorian,” among many more.

We also got a look at what can be inferred as Palpatine’s great throne where he has been waiting for the opportune moment to act out whatever contingency plan he’s been brewing.

Rey and Kylo Ren go head-to-head on the wreckage of the Death Star II, after we hear Rey saying that everyone thinks they know her, but they do not – with Kylo disagreeing, saying “But I do.”

A very telling graphic is overlaid on this image of Rey and Kylo inside of Palpatine’s throne room on the Death Star II.

We also saw this cool shot of the two enemies-not-enemies fighting against some common enemy that shatters into a million pieces.

If there’s one thing that is certainly possible for this film, it is that we could see Ben Solo finally allow himself to return to the light.

Before the trailer ends, we finally get a glimpse of Palpatine himself (or rather, the back of his head), as Rey stands before him.
