Visit Universal in spooky style with these HHN-inspired face masks

With Universal Orlando Resort reopening its theme parks to the public in just a couple of days, guests will have to don their face masks before heading in. But with these HHN-inspired designs, guests can visit the parks and have a little fun showing off their spooky side.

These masks are designed and sold by David King of HHN Updates, a Halloween Horror Nights-based Twitter and YouTube channel that covers update, speculation, and all things Horror Nights.

“I wanted to have a few masks to wear to HHN this year, so I made some for my own personal use and got great feedback on them from fellow fans,” said King when asked about why he created the masks. “From there, it turned into me creating an entire line of masks based on HHN icons, as well as various characters from the event.”

Each of the masks’ designs are created by King, and are inspired by characters like Jack the Clown, Beetlejuice, Chance, the Universal Monsters, and more. Scareactors can even find masks inspired by their past creature selves, like The Grinner from Graveyard Games and and the vampires from Vamp ’55 and Vamp 85: New Year’s Eve.

“I think, in times like these, it’s important to find ways to make mask-wearing something fun and exciting rather than a negative experience,” said King. “This project was definitely not created to make a profit, instead, to give fans an opportunity to show their love for HHN—and who wouldn’t want to walk around in the fog rocking Jack and Chance masks with a group of their friends?”

You can check out the designs for yourself on the official HHN Updates TeePublic store here.

Universal Orlando Resort will reopen its three theme parks to all guests on June 5. As of the time of writing, no updates have been shared on whether the parks’ temporary closure will affect this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
