Find hidden clues, solve puzzles, and escape from a Disney-inspired digital “room” at The Walt Disney Family Museum, all from the comfort of your own home.
The Walt Disney Family Museum has added to their line-up of virtual workshops and team building experiences with a new online Escape Room that introduces players to Walt Disney’s inspiring story and his beloved creations, including Mickey Mouse, Disneyland, and more.
Moderated by a Storyteller Guide, this 1-hour interactive experience is designed to encourage teamwork, boost morale, tap into players’ creativity, and have fun while working toward a mutual goal.
How does it work? Each participant joins the pre-arranged event via Zoom, where the Storyteller Guide provides a brief introduction before setting the group loose on a curated virtual adventure featuring some of the museum’s most recognizable and unique artifacts. Hunt for hidden clues and solve Disney-inspired puzzles using virtual art and artifacts as you race the clock to make your escape.
While teamwork is the main objective, the experience is open to social groups as well as business co-workers, in parties as small as 10 up to larger groups of 20.
Other virtual opportunities are a “Scavenger Hunt of the Virtual Exhibition” and “Team Drawing Fun” hands-on animation with a live museum instructor. Groups can even opt for the “Disney Best of the Best” structured and refereed debates, making their case on various topics including: which is better, 2D or 3D; Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck; Disneyland or Walt Disney World; the ever-popular Dole Whip vs churro; or other Disney-inspired topics of your choosing.
