Walt Disney World 50th anniversary merchandise first look revealed

As we look ahead to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that starts on Oct. 1, Disney has shared a first look at the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary merchandise collections.

Pre-Celebration Must-Haves

Available starting Aug. 12, this pre-celebration collection will offer limited-time products for those visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth before the actual anniversary celebration begins. Annual Passholders will also be able to pick up an exclusive long-sleeve T-shirt.

At the start of the celebration, three new collections will make their debut across Walt Disney World Resort, with select items available on shopDisney. Two additional collections will also debut later this fall.

Celebration Collection

This collection features accessories by Dooney and Bourke, festive headwear, coordinating mommy-and-me outfits and — all you Tokyo Disney merchandise fans will recognize — a Mickey-shaped soap dispenser!

Disney Castle Collection

The iconic Magic Kingdom landmark serves as the inspiration for this collection, which will include collectible ornaments, a castle-themed mug, and a light-up Minnie Mouse ear headband.

Vault Collection

This collection was practically made for the vintage Disney-loving fans in your life, with retro-themed designs inspired by items from the Walt Disney Archives. The Vault Collection will include an assortment of opening day favorites, like a 2021 version of the original Mickey Mouse ear hat, throwback T-shirt styles and vintage-inspired plush toys. More items will join this collection as the anniversary celebration continues.

EARidescent Collection

The latest Disney color trend collection, which will debut in late October, will be themed to match the EARidescent color theme of the 50th anniversary, and will include everything from a mini-backpack by Loungefly and a Spirit Jersey to a set of matching Minnie ears.

This fall, special themed retail displays will pop up at select merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World, including World of Disney at Disney Springs, featuring EARidescent and other 50th anniversary merchandise.

Luxe Logo Collection

Stay tuned for more updates as the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary approaches, as yet another collection, the Luxe Logo Collection, will be revealed — a range of upscale pieces for the Disney collector, set to debut in November.
