As Walt Disney World continues to grow and expand, their culinary team is seeking those with experience for full- and part-time roles that vary from Chef Assistants to Cook I and II’s.
Some of the benefits of working in a culinary role at Walt Disney World include guaranteed hours, weekly pay, provided uniforms, tuition support for higher education and vocational training, along with park admission and discounts on dining, merchandise and recreation locations throughout the resort. There is also a hiring bonus of $1,500 for select positions.
A culinary job fair was held on Monday, Feb. 5 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill, and included cooking demonstrations, meet-and-greets with Disney chefs, food tastings and on-site interviews with recruiters. Hundreds of applicants were interviewed at the job fair, and some were offered jobs on the spot. Job opportunities with the Disney culinary team are still available.
In addition to recruiting for culinary roles, Disney will be holding a Housekeeping Job Fair on Feb. 13-14. Those who are interested and would like to apply for positions can visit WaltDisneyWorld.jobs.
