Walt Disney World, Disneyland announce extended closure due to virus
After initially announcing that they would be closed until the end of March due to the ongoing virus crisis, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland have now confirmed that they will be extending their closures “until further notice.”

This news comes after a stay-at-home order was issued for Orange and Osceola counties in Orlando and statewide for California. The order for Florida is in place until April 9, though California’s order is active “until further notice.”
Walt Disney World and Disneyland cast members were said to be paid through the end of the original closing period, which was set to end on April 1. Cast members will now continue to be paid through April 18.
Cedar Fair and Universal Parks & Resorts also announced extended theme park closures, with the former set for mid-May and the latter scheduled to reopen on April 20.

We need the parks open soon as possible
We need you Mickey … but we need time to heal. We were to be this in Mid March, my wife suffers from Multiple Sclerosis one of the afflictions C/V plays real havoc with. We rescheduled to go in early December. Mickey … you’re that American Original that’s humble, playful, and inspires all of us (especially me) to be better all the way around, so I’ll see you in December. And maybe Mickey, I’ll come to work for you in the future.
