Walt Disney World temporarily pauses sale of Annual Passes

Just a couple of months after launching new pass types, Walt Disney World has paused new sales of nearly all of their Annual Passes until further notice.

The update was shared on the Walt Disney World website as well as in an email to current Annual Passholders. For now, new sales of the following pass tiers have been paused as the resort continues to “evaluate the return of new sales for these passes”:

  • Disney Pirate Pass
  • Disney Sorcerer Pass
  • Disney Incredi-Pass

For now, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is still available for purchase for Florida residents only, priced at $399 plus tax or $19 per month with down payment. In addition, this pause means that Disney fans who aren’t Florida residents are unable to purchase new Annual Passes, as the Disney Incredi-Pass was the only option available for out-of-state guests.

All current Passholders can still renew into any of the four pass types at their renewal rate despite this pause in sales.

Guests are encouraged to check back at DisneyWorld.com for updates on the resumption of sales. At this time, there is no projected return date for the new sales of Annual Passes.
