On Jan. 14, 2024, X user Jaalin Harvey asked the simple question, “Who got that one theme park video?”

Harvey’s initial post, a take on a recent meme format, has received 1.8 million views in less than a week. In response, dozens of theme park fans replied with candid moments captured on video at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Disneyland, and more.

Below are some of our favorites. In some cases, users may have reposted videos sourced from elsewhere.

The blast of air in the final scene of Epcot’s Journey Into Imagination with Figment catches some guests by surprise.

We all have bad days, even José Carioca. In this video, his animatronic was stuck facedown in Epcot’s Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros.

The titular character from DreamWorks’ “Boss Baby” formerly greeted guests at Universal Studios Florida. These fans gave him a warm welcome.

Daisy Duck is an icon among icons. Here she is at Disneyland during the park’s 60th-anniversary Diamond Celebration.

This video captures the chaotic energy of the short-lived Disney KiteTails show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which featured large kites crash-landing (intentionally) in empty bleachers.

Circa 1970s, astronaut Mickey Mouse dedicated Space Mountain in this clip from an unspecified Disney park.

You never know what might happen at a character dance party … or what song might play. Gideon from “Pinocchio” busts a move in this clip from a Fantasyland celebration at an unspecified park.

We’ll finish by throwing our own hat into the ring with this Captain Hook topiary from 2013’s Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. What appeared to be an ordinary topiary display was actually a live character.
