PHOTOS: New T-shirts arrive at re-imagined World of Disney
A new array of Disney T-shirts have made their debut at the soft-opening of the re-imagined World of Disney store in Disney Springs.

The World of Disney recently went through a lengthy refurbishment period to completely redesign the entire store.
“We have had a blast working on t-shirts. For me, personally, it’s fun to see,” said Donald Ferro, director of product strategy and product development for Disney Theme Park Merchandise. “I started working in Disney 28 years ago, and my first job in Product Development was T-shirts. So I love to see the evolution of what this business has been over the last 24 years.”
The shirts are now displayed in new graphic apparel walls so that guests can get a full look at their choices, and see the items on display in a unique and fun way.
“We had a great time stepping back and looking at [our offerings], both for youth and adult,” said Ferro.
These new shirts even have their own sales going on, with adult shirts going $20 each when you buy two or more, and children’s shirts for $15 when you buy two or more.
The shirts feature characters, unique icons, and on-trend messages, like “Park hopping is my cardio.” According to Ferro, those design choices were all purposeful.
“Messaging today is so important. If you think about when we opened DisneyStyle, we really started to focus on and showcase messaging. Messaging is really tied to what the guest experience is,” said Ferro. “So when we worked on these shirts, we wanted to say ‘What is the guest experiencing? What are they talking about when they’re posting on Instagram?’ And we had some fun tying all the messaging back to the park experience, ’cause that’s what it’s all about.”
There are varying interpretations of the shirts between the Disney Springs and Downtown Disney locations of World of Disney, but there are no exclusive designs to either store.
