Warner Bros. and Miral are preparing to open the world’s first Warner Bros.-themed hotel, The WB Abu Dhabi, on Yas Island next month.
As reported by Blooloop, the hotel will open to guests on Nov. 11, 2021, and feature a vast collection of Warner archives, as well as props and costumes from the studio’s films and TV shows.
The 257-room WB Abu Dhabi will feature giant screens that span the height of the building and play original content created for the hotel — which also includes the iconic “Friends” fountain.
In addition, the piano from HBO’s “WestWorld” will play while visitors dine at one of the hotel’s five restaurants, and families will be able to order room service from their favorite “Looney Tunes” characters.
“We are proud to be launching another first with the opening of the only Warner Bros. hotel in the world,” said Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral. “This new story-driven hospitality experience is set to excite guests from all over the world, further reinforcing Yas Island’s position as a global entertainment, leisure and business destination and supporting Abu Dhabi’s ambition to attract greater numbers of local and international tourists.”
Dining offerings include Craft Services, Sidekicks and Matinee, with fine dining available at The Director’s Club. The lounge, named The Overlook as a nod to “The Shining,” features an infinity pool. Other amenities include a The Kid’s Club, a space for children featuring Warner Bros. characters; a family pool area; fitness center; spa; and the Prop Shop, a merchandise location.
The WB Abu Dhabi is located adjacent to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor theme park.
“Opening the doors to the first-ever Warner Bros.-branded hotel is a moment that we have long dreamed of, and it’s truly magnificent,” said Pam Lifford, president of global brands and experiences at WarnerMedia.
