Ready for a second property in a prestigious location? Online “estate agents” Purplebricks promises stunning views of international tourist spots such as The Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, and Leeds Castle when Master Builders recreate the home of the winners of Legoland Windsor’s latest competition in celebration of the park’s new attraction, The Brick, opening in spring 2022.

Tom Greenacre, managing director of Purplebricks, said, “We’re delighted to bring to market this unique development opportunity. The plot […] is perfectly situated for those with a passion for travel, culture, and architecture, with some of the world’s most famous landmarks just a short walk away.”

The house will be built to 1:20 scale out of thousands of Lego bricks, and situated on a 110cm x 100cm plot in Miniland, one of the U.K.’s most exclusive postal codes.

But it’s not just the house that will feature in the new build. The “listing” comes with a car –mini, of course – and the winning family will also be part of the scene.

Paula Laughton, chief model builder at the Legoland Windsor Resort said, “To celebrate the idea of the family home as an amazing space where kids and parents play, build, and bring Lego imaginations to life, we have decided to list a plot at Miniland for the first time in the resort’s 25-year history.”

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for one lucky family to have their home, their car, and even themselves built out of Lego bricks in Miniland,” Laughton added “The model-making team can’t wait to unveil it ahead of The Brick, our brand-new Lego brick-building attraction opening to guests.”

When The Brick, opens this spring – less than a year after the opening of the new land, Lego Mythica: World of Mythical Creatures – it will be filled with hundreds of thousands of Lego bricks aspiring Model Makers can use to let their imaginations run wild.

The competition runs from February 28-March 7, 2022. To enter, contestants should send a photo of the exterior of their home, and a description of why it should be created in Lego bricks, via Miniland Home page on the Legoland website. The winner will be notified by email on or before March 11, 2022.
