Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida is introducing an entirely new category of theme park to Orlando visitors, the EcoPark. Opening April 2, 2012, the new EcoPark will allow for a full day of adventures including the all new Zipline Safari, Cypress Canopy Cycle and four brand new adventures.
The most notable new attraction is The Rattlesnake. The Rattlesnake is a zipline roller coaster, the first of its kind in the USA. It’s known as the next generation of ziplining and will launch riders from a height of 65 feet through the treetops over 1,000 feet of swinging, swooping, jumping and dipping through the trees.
Also opening is the 1,300-foot-long Peregrine Plunge, which will be the longest single straightaway zipline in Florida. You will be competing against another rider on two sets of lines side by side as you race toward your landing point.
The last two additions are Panther Pounce and the Swooping Crane. Panther Pounce is a 68 foot high challenge tower where guests can step off into a safely controlled rapid descent to the ground below. The Swooping Crane is an extreme swing where guests are released from a height of 55 feet into a freefall before swooping back and forth between the trees.
The new EcoPark admission ticket also includes the all new Zipline Safari which opened in September last year. The Zipline Safari is a two and a half hour guided journey through the treetops. Guests can then end their day relaxing on Cypress Canopy Cycle which opened last July. The Cypress Canopy Cycle is where guests gently pedal their way through the treetops while suspended 25 feet over forested wetlands.
The new EcoPark Admission Ticket is $135 and for adventurers ages 10 and up. Advance tickets are highly recommended and can be made by calling 407-957-9794.
