Airbnb Icons adds Edna Mode's house, design lab from 'Incredibles'

Edna Mode’s mansion and design lab from Pixar’s “The Incredibles” will come to life as an Airbnb Icons rental property.

Visitors will be greeted by Edna herself, fashion designer of legendary super heroes’ super suits. Throughout Edna’s home, guests will notice chic artwork, historic costumes from her portfolio, and even some cookie num-nums waiting for Jack-Jack.

Additionally, Airbnb says that “guests will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring their own creative superpowers to life by designing their very own customized super suit” inside Edna’s design lab.

What Are Airbnb Icons?

Stays in the recently launched Airbnb Icons collection materialize high-concept locales: from fictional settings inspired by movies (like Carl’s house from “Up”) to real places never before accessible as a rental space (like the Ferrari Museum in Italy).

Rather than being available for traditional reservations, Airbnb Icons rental properties are request-only.

How to Stay in Edna Mode’s Airbnb Mansion

To request a stay at Edna Mode’s house (or any Airbnb Icons rental):

Open the Airbnb app.
From the app’s home page, find the Icons category.
Select a rental property.
Request to book.
Cross your fingers for luck!

Edna Mode’s mansion costs $0 to request. Bookings will open May 24, 2024 at 9 a.m. PT. Airbnb will award 15 total experiences of up to four guests each. Visits will take place in early June 2024.

Meet Edna Mode at Disney World

Edna Mode takes time to meet her fans at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Fla. in a modest space called The Edna Mode Experience, found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The queue bears some resemblance to Edna’s Airbnb Icons home. If you stop by, prepare for Edna to judge your fashion choices!
